1. The added first period would be an opportune time for remediation/enrichment, which is often difficult to do in the regular day. With a period specifically for this, kids can get more one-on-one attention.
2. Provide a good breakfast for all students, ensuring they are getting what they need to be at their best for the day
I wouldn't reccommend this for grades K-3, as they are too young and require more sleep.

Ok so... If you start One hour earlier Kids would have lack of sleep since most kids dont fall asleep untill 11

I don't believe that they should start one hour earlier, especially when dealing with the lower grades. I think that it wouldn't hurt for them to go an extra hour, and thereby increase the time of learning.

More time to learn, students get to school earlier so parents can get to work on time, they can eat breakfast at school - which means better nutrition and more revenue for the school.

Yeah.

1. So kids can get more instructional time
2. By extending the school day, it won't be extended later and so they won't be out later
3. Gets them in the feeling of getting up and going to "work"

Lack of sleep is bad for kids.
If they realy want 2 extend skool, extend after.
And only a little-
Kids would start hating skool!
