it equals 0!! when u multiply the first equation by 2, you get: 6x-4y=2 and -6x+4y=-2. everything cancels!! hope it helps!

3x - 2y =1
-6x + 4y = -2

These are effectively the same equation; there is no way to solve for either x or y.

they are parallel lines and x and y cannot be found.
