when my mom told me that my dad had a child with another woman and that meant i had a half brother (my dad walked out on my family to be with that woman). i never met him before. that and when my mom told me when she was 17 she had an abortion. even her own parents dont know it yet to that sorta surprised me

I didn't find out until I was an adult that my parents were not married when I was born, they married six months afterwards. That was an extremely uncommon thing back then.
