How many colors do bettas come in?

There are really only a very few "colors" in betta genetics. Red, blue, green and black basically. There are currently 11 recognized solid colors and of course, many, many combinations of 2 or 3 colors.

All of them. Black, white, blue, purple, red, orange, yellow, pink, green. And also just about any combination or pattern. Males and females have the same pigmentation as well and both can come in any color.

ugh -- i saw something where there are two they still cant produce -- one was emerald green. they just recently mastered purples so you can get lavenders are violets. i have a black, red (several), yellow, cellophane (not white but no pigment -- kind of off whitish light flesh colored) and a deep blood red/black.

Lots! red, blue, and colorless (white/pale yellow) are most common, then they can have overlays of irridescence to give them a green or silver sheen. There are also black & brown/copper, but these are less common to see. Here's a website with photos: http://www.bettatalk.com/betta_colors.htm

tons. and a ton of combonations too! they come in black, white, red, blue, green, purple, redorange, yellow, clear(not entire body), orange, peach, brown, maroon. Some are just more rare, like ive only seen one white male in persona and one black male in person, ive only seen pictures of orange, yellow, brown, and maroon ones.
