Because Nash is nothing but an overrated average player. It wouldn't make a difference if he was on a team or not. You guys keep saying that Nash makes a team better and where was The Suns at before Nash. Well how about where is Dallas at without Nash(2006 NBA Finals)? Nash played for Dallas as well. Without Nash they finally beat the Spurs and got further then they ever did, and this isn't the 1st time Nash played for the Suns, where was the Suns at then? Now all them things I just stated is proof enough that Nash isn't bably needed. His defense sucks and his scoring is average.....and that's bull when you guys says he's freeing his players up. It's them brothas that be hustling, setting screens, and trying to dodge the guy who's holding him. They get THEIR own selves open and all Nash does is find the open man, Whoopdee DO! Plenty points guard can do that. Nash is most definitely replaceable. Nash is no where near an MVP!...and it's racist how they're hyping him.

May I also point out that Nash's scoring average is far above average. In fact, he is the 2nd leading scorer on his team (19.3) trailing amare by only .5 points a game and ahead of marion by 1.1 ppg.
As for the assist stat that I know you think is racist, apparently plenty of point guards can't hit the open man. Last game when the suns played the hawks barbossa had the same options as Nash but he did not get 11 asts. As a matter of fact no other point guard in the nbba seems to manage to find the open man 11 times a night. (Nort saying it's only cause of Nash, but i don't think it is a coincidence either)
Nash also has an extremely hhigh fg% (53.6) and is 49% from 3pt, which is better than both raja bell and marion.
And i think that is is racist that you are brining race into this aat all. Next time you want to rip on a player you don't like make reasonable arguments. not this bull $hit

But u do have some valid points i've been saying this for a while. I think Nash is great point guard but a MVP type player i just dont think so.
His Defense sucks and he undersized. He plays in a great system and has great talent around him. I mean look at joe johnson now he a all-star It was him,marion and stoudmarie on the same team that is crazy.
Nash Deserve the first MVP award but the second no Wade and Bryant were better. and this year DIrk, bryant and wade are all better than nash
Dallas knew this so cuban didnt resign nash. He thought the suns overpaid for nash. His numbers are very good. But he isn't a 4th quarter mvp game changing type of player.
Dallas is deeper and more athletic now with Jason Terry and devin harris those guys are a handful even more than Nash josh howard is the key they are 20-2 when he hit over 20 points.
SO to be fair to Nash he makes a difference!! But will Nash ever win a Nba finals mvp? NO

how can you say nash doesnt make his team better? what happened to phoenix when they played atlanta without nash? they lost, they gave up a double digit lead at home. and you cant compare nashs rookie year to what he is doing now, its not fair. he was a rookie coming out of a school nobody knows and they suns didnt even have the same personnel. when nash left dallas, that forced dirk to step it up a notch. you cant tell me that dirk hasnt improved and become a better player. he is playing defense and driving to the hoop now, when nash was in dallas, dirk was a jumpshooter who seldom drove. since when was scoring 19 ppg average? nash creates for the suns and he is the reason why phoenix is winning. also, nash played under don nelson who never cared about defense. when avery came in nash left and he instilled defense into the mavericks and thats why they are as good as they are right now. plus they have added josh howard who is the X factor on that dallas team, he plays defense grabs boards and scores. when nash has the ball, defenders pay attention because nash is a good shooter and they have to respect that so when he drives another player will come to help guard him, thus opening up easier shots for guys like bell and marion. Nash does make a difference, its ridiculous that you think otherwise.

the mavs gave the point to jason terry who is a very good player. they brought in quality bench players and developed their young players. they also put more of an emphasis on team defense. don nelson took his run-and-gun offense to golden state and let avery johnson insert his system. if you notice, people are saying that phoenix plays no defense. this is because nash is not a defensive specialist. he did not fit into their plans and they saw it before it was too late. he is an excellent offensive power but you will have to score 125 a night just to win with him.
