Eyeliner: usually black eyeliner is the best for all types of people. other colors of eyeliner may make you look goth (unless you want that).

Mascara: black as well!

Eyeshadow: Here's the "believe it or not" part. Put on eyeliner on your top eyelid, and then sweep over it a nice golden eyeshadow. It'll look really nice, and so pretty!

Lip Gloss: You should get clear lip gloss, so that it will bring out your natural lip color, just much more shinier and noticeable.

If you lean toward a yellow-olive like I do, you're best with bronze, copper, gold and other metallic warm colors. I like wearing a lot of copper and bronze lipsticks, eyeshadows and even blush. Posner made the absolute best copper blush I ever used, but I haven't had a chance to pick up another one yet :( I use coffee-colored eyeliner when I do use it (L'Oreal makes a good one)

A friend of mine who was also a makeup artist said people with a deeper complexion or the lighter olive shades (I'm half Native American with a honey complexion) may be better off in the "ethnic"--read "better mixes of pigment"-- lines. That's exactly where I go, and I haven't had a problem yet. You may find what you're looking for in lines like Black Radiance (I use their Cream to Powder in Honey Dipped every day, great stuff that I started using in television production class and have been hooked ever since,) Posner and Tropez.
