my son is turning 14 in mid may this year.i usually hold him a party at our house but this year me and my wife can not be home on the day of his birthday.can anyone tell me somewhere where u can hold a party for a kid around 14 years old where an adult does not have to be present or where an adult only has to be there in the begining and at the end of the party to pick up the kid..a hotel is an example but i dont like the idea of my son bringing people into a hotel room by himself.

Is a party for 14 year olds without adult supervision such a good idea? Kids at that age can get pretty rowdy. Maybe if you're busy the day of his birthday you could do his birthday party for his friends on the following weekend. That way you'll get to enjoy the party with him, and it extends the celebration for him.

Why can't you have it a little early or a little late?He is old enough to understand and to wait or to appericate that you want to be there.
