When you place 1 hand in a cold bucket of water, and the other hand in a warm bucket of water and then after a while place it in room temperature water... what would your hands feel like? what happened?

The nerves in your hands will have accommodated to the temperature (tired of sending the same signal) and your flesh will have changed temp to get closer to the water and like an after image when you view something, the hand from the warm water will feel the room temp water as cold while the cold water hand will feel it as warm.

I did this experiment before!!!!!!

the hand you put in the cold water (it is usually freezing) will feel very hot and the one in the hot water will feel very cold.

I think the colder hand will feel as though the water is warmer cause it was freezing before and now it's feeling hot, hot, hot!!!!
