The first and most important thing that you need to do is determine when you are ovulating. First of all it really helps to buy an ovulation predictor kit, it will give you a pretty accurate indication of when you are ovulating, much more accurate than charting body temp or trying to count. I suggest using the clear blue easy smiley face ovulation kits. Instead of trying to figure out what lines mean on a test, this test gives you a smiley face when you are ovulating (trust me they are much easier then trying to read the lines on other tests). If you have been trying for a while and are having a hard time, investing in a clear blue easy fertility monitor isn't a bad idea either. They are expensive, but give you much more info then just a regular ovulation predictor. The fertility monitor actually tells you the level of hormones in your urine, instead of just a yes or no answer.
Another way to determine when you are ovulating is to check your cervical mucous and your cervix. When you notice cervical mucous that is the consistency of egg whites and stretches between your fingers you should be ovulating within the next 48 hours. You can also check your cervix by inserting one or two clean fingers into your vagina. Reach in towards the back and feel for a knob type thing, this is your cervix. When you are NOT ovulating your cervix will be low and fairly easy to reach, it will feel firm like the tip of your nose. When you are ovulating your cervix will be high and harder to reach, it will feel soft (like if you were touching your lips) and may feel slightly open.
Once you pinpoint when you are ovulating and it is time to try, there are a few things to do that can increase your odds of conceiving. First of all the best position to use is missionary (guy on top) this puts him penis in perfect position for fertilization. After you finish having sex, have him wait a little while before pulling out, this will keep his sperm closer to the opening to your cervix longer. And finally, don't jump right up after sex, it is best to lay for 15-20 minutes with your hips elevated (however don't elevate your hips too high because you don't want the sperm to pool behind your cervix).
And finally make the sex as enjoyable as possible for BOTH of you. I know it is hard, my husband and I are trying and it feels more mechanical then sexy because you have to do it at certain times, in certain positions etc. But the more he enjoys it the more he will actually ejaculate, therefore there will be more soldiers available to fertilize! Also try to have an orgasm yourself, this is important for two reasons. First of all when you have an orgasm your cervix will release a little bit of fluid that is very hospitable to his sperm and will help them get where they are going. Second of all, the muscle contractions of having an orgasm help move the sperm along in the right direction. I know this is a lot of info but I hope it helps. If you have anymore questions check out www.babycenter.com it is a great website and has an ovulation calculator that I love! Good luck and lots of Baby Dust!!!

you can use an ovutaltion predictor test. usually you will ovulate between 10-14 days after your last period if you have a 28 day cycle. there are a lot of online sites that can help you track ovualtion until you see a pattern.

you need to study your cycles and learn when you are ovulating. Then you need to have unprotected sex during ovulation. The rest is up to nature. I recommend the book linked below. Good luck!

Infertility can be caused by a huge number of factors: hormone imbalance, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Endometriosis, Anovulatory Cycles, physical blockage, inadequate hormone production, short luteal phase, lack of lutenizing hormone, high levels or prolactin, and many others. How to get pregnant https://tr.im/KnoEi

Poor nutrition often plays a major role, as does exposure to toxins. Age plays less of a role before menopause than was originally thought. While there are many wonderful naturally minded fertility specialists out there, in many cases it is not possible for them to test for and address any of these possible underlying issues.

This is what's going on with my husband and I. On Sept 04 we stopped using contraception. He left in Jan 05 to Iraq and came back on december 05 so that should of probably got rid of the pill effect. We had to wait till this last Dec 06 to get our fertility referral. I had gotten my hormone tests done in August by a very nice Doctor because I was having vertigo and since I had stated that for sure I wasnt pregnant and I wanted to be he went ahead and did all the tests. I also got my Pap and cultures done the next month. Everything came out normal. They would not test my husband until a year had passed. I got very upset because something is obviously medically wrong and they would not test. I could of had a tumor, he could have a hernia or something in his testes or the hormone producing glands. And that glitch in the Medical system I hate. Is not the fact of conceiving is the fact that there is a medical problem. Well we had our first appointment a couple of weeks ago with the infertility specialist. They did a sperm count on my husband at 11am I came in at three since for my appointment and the Doctor stated that my husbands sperm count was in the low side of normal and that his motility was abnormal and the amount that came out was abnormal as well. they were still working on another test. I was not told by the doctor that it would be a good idea for my husband to go to an urologist. Well he wants to do the exploratory surgery to check if my tubes are tied and if I have endometriosis. My dad travels to mexico from time to time and I called him and asked him to inquire with a Doctor over there about my husband's issue with the Sperm. The Doctor stated that he had had the same issue after having three kids with his first wife and couldnt with his second. he checked his sperm and had come abnormal. He started taking high doses of Vitamin B12 and after doing the elevation of the legs after sex his wife was able to conceive. Think about hearing from my dad to raise my legs for two hours...hehe my face was red. Thank god was on the phone. My dad got a prescription for my husband of Vitamin B12 shots 10000 micrograms and sent it to us. In studies that I checked on the internet 26% of guys who had sperm count of 27 million...which is way abnormal increased their sperm and motility by 4 to 24 weeks to over 100 million. That was at a 1000 microgram shot not 10000 like ours. Guys who took the 6500 microgram dose increased was like 57 percent of them. We are doing the shots 1 every third day. By what I read is suppossed to help increase the amount since it is a cell producer it also helps with the myelin on nerve cells and other things and is suppossed to not be toxic due to being a water soluble vitamin. I have seen the pills as well. So is not bad for our guys to try too if having issues conceiving. The pills are not expensive at all. Who would of thought that a doctor my dad paid $4 to see is doing everything a doctor we probably would of ended up paying over $12000. I bought the ovulation kit checked it today and it came back that I am suppossed to ovulate 24 to 36 hrs from now so I will be very busy. Good luck to everyone trying to conceive and make sure if you go to a Doctor to ask about the treatment options for both partners. My next appointment for the surgery is the 6th for preop and the 8th for the surgery. Sincec my ovulation is about to start I will try not to make it to my next appt. Take Care and good luck.

How to get Pregnant Faster – Top Ten Tips

1. Have sex three times a week.

Having regular sex is the best way to get pregnant. Couples often try to time everything perfectly for ovulation but do not have sex when they think they are not ovulating. It is true that sex that is not within the time of ovulation will not result in pregnancy. However, because women do not always ovulate when they think they will, having sex three times a week will help to a woman cover her bases, so to speak, and not miss an opportunity to get pregnant.
2. Use an ovulation prediction kit or fertility monitor.

Using an ovulation kit to predict when you are ovulating will improve your chances of getting pregnant. For many women charting or other methods of ovulation prediction are too confusing. Ovulation prediction kits work by reading LH surges prior to ovulation. They are relatively easy to use and are generally accurate for predicting ovulation. Fertility monitors, such as the Clear Blue Easy monitor, are also a worthwhile investment if you would like to get pregnant faster. Fertility monitors are similar to ovulation prediction kits in that they read changes in LH but they also read changes in other hormones and don’t require any guesswork for couples. They are easy to use and will tell you when the best time to get pregnant is.

3. Have sex before ovulation (not after).

Sometimes couples get confused about the best time to have sex in relationship to ovulation. You have a small window of time each month to get pregnant. After a woman ovulates the egg will survive approximately 24 hours. Sperm, on the other hand, will live for up to three to five days. This is why having sex two to three days before ovulation will increase your chances of getting pregnant. Don’t wait until the day you ovulate to have sex. Your partner’s sperm will last longer than your egg and you don’t want to miss an opportunity by waiting.

4. Don’t rely on the Calendar method for predicting ovulation.

A lot of couples have heard to have sex around day fourteen of your cycle. This is based on the calendar method and assumes that you have a regular 28-day cycle and ovulate mid-cycle. Although this is better than just picking an arbitrary day to have sex, it is not a very accurate way to predict when you ovulate. Many women do not ovulate on day fourteen and knowing precisely when you ovulate will help you time intercourse better. Ovulation prediction kits, looking at previous months bbt charts, or watching for body cues will help you to determine when you ovulate.

5. Charting may not be the best way to predict ovulation.

Charting is great for tracking your cycle but it does have disadvantages. By the time you can see ovulation on a bbt chart, you have already ovulated. It is good to chart so you can track your cycles, see if you ovulate the same time each month, and also so you can look back on your cycle and see if you timed things right. But if this is your first cycle trying to get pregnant or if you are not ovulating at the same time each month, an ovulation prediction kit would be more helpful.

6. See a doctor before you start trying to get pregnant.
Make sure you are in good health and have had a regular check up from your OBGYN or medical provider. Untreated infections, sexually transmitted diseases, or poor health can affect your chances of getting pregnant. Its good to see a doctor as well as start taking prenatal vitamins prior to trying to conceive.

7. Don’t smoke, drink alcohol, or abuse drugs when trying to get pregnant.
This may seem like common sense but many women do try to get pregnant while smoking, drinking or using drugs. Smoking, drugs, and alcohol can affect your fertility. It will also affect your unborn child. It is important to stop smoking or using drugs and alcohol before getting pregnant and not wait until you find out you are pregnant.

8. Have enjoyable sex.

Sometimes when couples are trying to conceive, sex becomes a job or function of reproduction and is not as enjoyable. Plan a romantic evening or try something different to spice things up. How you are feeling sexually may factor into your chances of getting pregnant. Some researchers believe that having an orgasm during sex increases your chances of getting pregnant. For women, the spasmic movements of orgasm will help pull the sperm into the uterus and for men a better orgasm may increase the man’s sperm count.

9. Have sex in positions that keep sperm inside the vagina longer.

The missionary position is a good position to use when trying to get pregnant. Avoid positions where the woman is on top. Gravity will allow sperm to leak out with these positions. Also try placing a pillow under your hips to help tilt your pelvis and keep the sperm in longer. Don’t get up right after sex. Try to relax and allow the sperm to stay in the vagina as long as possible.

10. There is no such thing as trying too hard to get pregnant.
Most couples get pregnant within a year of trying. If you have not gotten pregnant within a year consult your doctor for advice.
