native americans(genocide), blacks(slavery), Jews(Holocaust), Rwanda( caused by Germans and Belgium), South Africa( apartheid), Christian Crusades, Segregation, etc

WHY ARE THEY THE ONLY ONES WHO COME UP WITH THIS SEPARATION CRAP AND RACIAL CLASSIFICATION? BTW, minorities HAVEN'T SEPARATED THEMSELVES FROM THE MAJORITY, THE MAJORITY SEPARATED THEMSELVES FROM THE MINORITIES!

STILL, white EXCABRATED THEIR CONFLICTS!

May I suggest you do some more research? The native-americans fought among themselves as did the various tribes in Africa, the Polynesians, and almost every other tribe and or grouping that you could think of. BTW a lot of the slaves that were sold were enslaved by other black tribesmen first then sold to the whites. I suggest you spend more time working for equality today rather than come up with shaky theories based on what was not really true in the past.

You really need to study history more. African nations were enslaving each other, Native Americans were fighting among themselves, and everyone else is just as human as whites are. In fact, right now most of what's going on isn't caused by white people. Africa is politically unstable, putting it mildly. Sadaam Huseen killed many of his own people. Everywhere is full of people who are human, both good and bad.
By the way, speaking of slavery. It was wrong, but did you ever consider where you would be if your ancestors hadn't been brought over here? You would probably be without electricity and starving, like many of the people in Africa are today. You certainly would be more worried about how you're going to survive the next day than complaining about something that happened a long time ago. So why are you so bitter about the past? What happened actually benefitted you. You should take it and do something to add to the world instead of complaining.

At first I wasn't going to respond to this question because it had so many answers already but PLEASE READ MY POST.

The responses you are getting are completely culturally ignorant!
Native people did not have Whites as slave, that is a complete fabrication. Second, Natives weren't at war before colonization.
This is a common myth created to rid the dominant culture of guilt. I can explain more on this if needed, just send me an email.

Please, I don't know why people say these things or where they get there information. I am college educated, graduated with a B.S., a person of color, and have a lot of education in ethnic studies. Just don't believe this crap!

In the name of religion.....Christianity, and I'm not sure you want to phrase it the past. Death and destruction is still in affect.....institutionalized racism, the war.

And Africa is at war due in part to Britain's and Portugal's heavy handed rule from in the past.....

If anyone is up for a challenge consider taking a African studies course (higher education class) and incorporate that with a Sociology course and you will be able to see things a little more clearly when it come to the heavy hand rule of white society.

For all the focus put on advancement of technology, property, and dominating...none appears to be put on advancement of the heart and mind.

I hate to say it but I do think religion was a large factor...teaching the "we're right and everyone else is wrong" mindset, and too many without a conscious also got that lesson and took off on a destructive path trying to dominate over all those they felt were wrong and inferior to them.

Well this didn't only go on in the past, it continues today. But lets us be clear, all people despite ethnicity have engaged in this type of destructive behavior. The ancient Egyptians kept white slaves, as well as other North African cultures. The Romans who were Latin kept Germanic and Celtic slaves, and ridiculed blond haired blue eyed people as ugly. The original peoples of Japan were light skinned red haired people, and were pushed North and discriminated against by the later Chinese colonists. It is now thought that Neolithic age Europeans settled in North America much earlier than originally thought; skeletal remains have been found in Washington state that have been carbon dated to 10,000 years ago. Where are these white people now, perhaps decimated by the Asiatic Native Americans?

I can go on and on with examples of were light skinned people were victims of dark skinned peoples brutality, or examples of dark skinned people victimizing other dark skinned people, and of course as you have pointed out, light skinned people victimizing darker people.

Universally since the beginning of civilization people regardless of complexion have been killing and steeling from one another. If one wants to believe that this is exclusively a white on brown phenomena, than one can deceive themselves with exclusively examples that reflect this.

One phenomenon that is exclusively indicative of white racist behavior is the study of eugenics, and genetics. For what ever reason the study of genetics emerged in Europe. Many of these early scientist misunderstood the science of genetics and misinterpreted the results to mean that white Europeans were "superior" genetically. We now know that this is false and without merit.

I believe that if these sciences were developed in any other culture a similar result would have been present. For example, if the Persians discovered genetics, they would have declared that their genetics were superior; this would be the same for the Africans, Indians, or any other culture that potentially could have discovered this science.

You should read the book, "Guns, Germs, and Steel" by Jared Diamond. He will answer your question better than I, and his prospective is very profound.

Ok, I agree with you on some points. We shouldn't of did that in the past. Look at Africa, they're black, and they're practically at war constantly. Indians used to have slaves back then.

And also, is it fair that blacks can have a BET channel but whites can't have a WET channel because the blacks will label it as racist? Is it fair they can have an all black college but we can't have an all white college because THE BLACKS WILL THINK IT'S RACIST.

And now, since you've read what I said, you probably think I'm racist. And also, Native Americans used to have white slaves.

you can ask that question again I totally agree with you but, I've got to say it's partly because white people do it on a large scale that's why everyone notices and it rarely goes unnoticed but if you look at it closely minorities do it amongst themselves as well and in my opinion that's far more painful .
