As a fellow 14 year old, I understand. ;) This is what my friends usually end up getting their guys:
1) Tickets. To a movie, if they're newly dating, or to a concert if they're closer. It means that you're paying for a date and -gasp!- movie! A sweet gesture towards him. <3
2) Chocolates. Hey, guys like 'em too!
3) A card and a kiss. <3

A card is always one of the best things to do. If your desperate you could always get a gift card to his favorite store, etc. Movie tickets are good too as said before. Chocolates, his favorite snack food, etc.

as a guy, i suggest not getting him anything girly. it hard being a guy that age and having to deal with your guy friends joking around about the things a girl/girlfriend does. its in fact part of the reason why guy will act like jerks.

Why dont you get him the cd that hes been wanting to get ..... or make him something special like a love letter or something that you thing hes gonna like
