I am so sorry you are going through this.

Yes, this happened with my first pregnancy. I bled heavily at 12 weeks and when I got in the ER they told me I was miscarrying. I pretty much spotted until 17 weeks when it happened again and again they told me I was miscarrying. That baby is now 8 years old :)

Anyhow, we found out the reason for the hemorrhage after I had my c-section. They did a pathology report on the placenta and it had been having 'strokes' and was partially dead. Fortunately my doctor made me quit work after all of that and I took it easy the rest of my pregnancy and I do believe that made the difference in my son being here today.

Take this as a sign to take it easy. By the way, the AFP catches bleeds so be prepared to have a positive test. They believed my son would have Down Sydrome but turns out the AFP was warning about the strokes instead.

If you ever need to talk to somebody who has been there, done that, feel free to message me :)
