i upgraded my computer but it took the output deivce off for some reason i have realtek but i dont know what software to put on there it just keeps tellling me theres no audio output deive or playback help

try reinstalling the realtek drivers

You need a windows vista driver for the sound device. If you had kept what was on the computer when it was bought/built you wouldnt have all those driver conflicts. Its better to just buy computers with that pre-installed. When they come out with a new version of windows in 3-5 more years I dont think you're current machine will do a good job of running it & you'll need a new one anyway.

Get the vista update patch from realtek.

vista unfortunately cleared your sound drivers. I recommend that if you have any software for other Windows, put it in and install or choose "install other options" Put the drivers back in and away you go.

Try restarting your computer and unplug the cord of your speakers and put it back before restarting.

you can try re-starting yout PC or go to www.downloard.com to get the softwear for it..I hope it help you ..
