Ladies, have you had an HSG xray? Apart from cramping on the same day did you get any other side effects? My boobs are VERY sore - I'm due my period on Friday and I'm not sure if the HSG has caused them to be so sore. Did any of you experience VERY sore boobs a few days after the HSG before your period?

Well, when they do an HSG it must be done early in the cycle--before day 9. If it is done later in the cycle after ovulation and possible conception it is very dangerous to the fetus and often causes early miscarriage or birth defects. Why was yours done late in your cycle?

I had an hsg and no i didnt get any other side effects! but the doc said to me it makes it easier to get pregnant. Not happened to me yet but hopefully soon!! You could be pregnant? could you? good luck x
