I missed being with a guy many years ago because of anxieties I was deeling with. If I were to meet up with him again I hope to be more forward and not loose him a second time.

Yes, there are several things that I would change if possible (I think), for one thing I wouldn't have married the man that I did. Except that I wouldn't have my(our) two daughters now, but I can't help but wonder if it would have been better for them if we hadn't had them. I love both of our daughters very much, but I can't help but wonder if they would have been better off with different parents. Oh well, that's something we will never know!

Also, there was a man that I met a few months before my husband decided to ask me to marry him. I had a relationship with this man & deeply loved him but he was married. If I could go back, I would never have gotten involved with him!! Because I still love him to this day~26 years later!! Or I should say that I love the way we were together at the time, I have only seen him once since my marriage & it was purely by accident. I do know from a mutual friend that he & his wife are still married.

So yes I have regrets but that's life and you have to live with the regrets as well as the happiness!

I regret not telling my first love exactly how I felt about him. If I had just grown a pair and told him the truth, I'd probably still be with him right now. But I guess we didn't last for a reason. Hope you feel a little better, though.

Yeah, I regret having married too early and not playing the field more. I evny all the single dudes out there that can easily have a woman give up thier lady parts in a few hours.

You can't live in the past. You can only learn from it and move on. Regret is a waste of energy if it lasts one second longer than you need in order to learn empathy.

The only regret that I have is not learning the following earlier;
" If you have one foot in tomorrow, and one foot in yesterday, chances are you are squatting all over today."

Learn to live in the moment before they are all regrets. The only time you have influence on is right now.

I embrass everything I've done in the past. I don't live with regret, just with the knowledge of what I've learned. I'm older, wiser and wouldn't change anything in my life. It's made me what I am.
