I sooooooooooo feel your pain! I'm 34 weeks too and I've been having braxton hicks for what seems like eternity! I can't stand for more than 10 minutes or they will get REALLY bad. I'm suposed to be induced around the 10th-15th of next month (YAY!)(My children tend to be on the large side, fyi for anyone who is getting ready to read me the riot act about being induced) So at last I have an end in site. I feel for you! I'm terrified I'm gonna go into labor and not realize it lol, I've never gone into labor on my own and don't quite know what it would be like. Just remember your almost there! Good luck!

I'm 32 weeks and I have been having BH contractions that last for 5 hours - a SINGLE contraction, no on and off, that goes on and on and on. Imagine flexing your abdominal muscles for 5 hours straight - that muscle fatigue? Yeah, I'm feeling that.

I'm sure you already know to drink water (dehydration causes BH's), eat something, go to the bathroom, change position, lie on your left side, etc. If you have time (with 3 other kids, ha ha) try taking a warm shower, too.

The way I think of it, every contraction I have now is one less that I have to have when I'm in labor and they really hurt. Hang in there - you're in the home stretch!!

Are you drinking enough water? Are you resting enough? Drink a few glasses of water while you are resting w/ your feet up. If you get more than 5 in 1/2 hr call your OB to see if you can get checked.

oh I feel for you I had horrible braxton hicks during my pregnancy. You could take a warm (not hot) bath or use a warm compress/heating pad on your back.

Keep moving, honey! Hang in there! Try walking as soon as you feel one coming on. That helped me a lot. Sitting or laying always made it worse.
