So, you're trying to find a high school to attend? My recommendations might require you to move, if you choose to go to one of them, but here they are: Shasta Union High School in
Redding, CA (It's grade 9 through 12 high school) and Chico High School in Chico, CA (it also has grades 9 through 12). Both have a success rate of all students doing well! I attended the first of the above 2. And I've heard about the other one.

Unless you are a criminal and are told that you have to attend an out of zone school, you don't usually have a choice.
I would choose one that places an emphasis on educating the students and doesn't push the kids through school just to make the school look good.

It's a little hard to answer a question about what high school to recommend when there's no area to base it on.

I guess I'll go general -- public over private, in my opinion.

Go with factors like its size, how excellent the state rates it (every school has a rating). Look around at the school and schools in your area and compare them.
