im 11 and im small so u wouldnt think i d have my period yet but today i got a stomach ache and a headache amd i was like yelling at ppl bc i was so tired and i was having cramps and i look a little bit fatter near my stomach and i really want chocolate and i ate some and i want more. i wouldnt think that someone like me would have their period othis early but do you thonk that this is it

i know that alot of 11 year olds have their periods but i mean that im pretty small like really skinny andreally short and in the past couple of months i gained 4 pounds

I work with young teens all the time, and I see that this is something that has become an issue. I have seen young girls start as early as 9 years of age. That's when I tell them to have their hormones checked. At 11 you are probably in the 5th grade and that's pretty normal. You will experience mood swings cravings and the worst thing cramps. Try to keep some midol or something of that sort on hand.

It depends, do you have blood! Are you more than 80 pounds? Because most people that have had their period are over 80 pouds. How can you not know if your having your period or not?!

probly not.
i had mine when i was 11 so it would be perfectly normal. although, if you haven't seen any blood or dark stains in your underwear, you have not started yet.
all the other symptoms you were describing: those usually don't come for up to 2 years after starting your period

if you start having a little bit of blood coming out ..then probably but the things you described dont usually start happening untill youve had a few periods

well people have their periods at different ages, so 11 mite be normal for u, but what your talking about, i've never heard of that happening before someones first period.

Ha it sounds like hormones to me but you just need to be aware of your first leak. It sounds as if it is coming soon. This is perfectly normal :D

you might. just check yourself to see if you got it. b/ dont get stressed over it b/c stress might stop it. and in truth the moods- a lot of it is mental. sure sometimes you get mad, and i for one dont get mad, i always cry, for no reason. ask your mom when she got it, b/c many times it works out that you get it, about the same time that she got it.
