You must have air leakage. When the cold air from outside hits the warm air inside, the condensation occurs. If you're in the cold, cold North right now, caulk the windows for now and cover them with 3M window insulating film (the kind you shrink in place with a hair dryer). Otherwise you'll have your heating bills jump horribly and you won't be able to control the condensation and mold.

Come spring, have your seals on your windows fixed.

Chances are that your heat is up too high, which is causing the condensation. If the heat isn't up too high, then your air is too humid in the home. A dehumidifier will help remove the moisture from the air. Just remember to empty the water trap frequently.
