Hey, me and my boyfriend have been together for nearly 2 years but sh** always seems to happen to us. Like other girls coming on to him and stuff. This brings my trust down heaps. We have a great relationship but when he goes away for work and stuff something bad always happens. I have depression so things always seem worse 4 me!
I am a little chubby but have a great personality and im not ugly. i did gymnastics for 13 years which doesnt help. We are both only 17 but i feel im not good enough for him when girls come on to him.
so my question is how can i not be so protective? What do guys look 4 in girls??
please help

You're on the right track- at least you recognize your problem. Not trying to sound mean, but "clingy" girls will get on a guy's nerves, so you have GOT to stop doing that. Since you're only 17, remind yourself that in 5 years you won't even remember this guy's name, let alone care what girl he's with. Stop acting like he's the last guy on earth! The second thing is this- no matter who you're dating, other girls will flirt/hit on him, so get used to it. It's not the girls you have to worry about- it's him. How he reacts when a girl hits on him is the only thing you need to keep an eye on, and if you don't like it and he can't adjust it, then move on. Most importantly- DON'T be so down on yourself. I bet you're a hottie! (And I mean that in a complimentary way, not a flirting way!)

1. Relationships are built on trust.
2. Do you have "depression" or just a bit p1ssed off?
3. Who says you are " a bit chubby" you? your b/f. Dont do yourself down.
4. You are bound to be protecive (you're 17). If it works between you the brilliant. If not then it wasnt meant.
5. Have a good life

hey I'm a guy, i think the problem is that you don't have enough self confidence, you believe you arnt good enough for your boyfriend and that is why you are becoming protective or even "jealous" to some extent. Basically if he didn't like you he wouldn't still be going out with you. Its simple, he has chosen you over all these other girls so he must love you alot. I look for someone who truly adores me, and shows it alot. Men like to feel loves and know they are loved. But it just sounds like you are lacking in self confidence where you shouldn't be because he obviously loves you to be going out with you.

Well I'd be lying if I said looks didn't matter. Guy like girls who are funny , witty and charming. Girls who are good in the sack are also well liked. Guys hate girls who sit down talking about lip gloss and the latest article in Heat or OK! magazine

He's not going for the right one, for sure. You seem very nice, sweet, and pretty so if he keeps this up find one that will appreciate being with only you. I'm sure it's many that would love to be with you

well first of all if hes cheating on you then you should leave him in the dust. secondly, sometimes guys get carried away with being attracted to other girls. if these girls are coming on to him in a provacative manner then he will probably be interested and do something that may hurt you emotionally. but once again, if hes cheating on you then dump him.

WEll first i would ahve to say that he doesnt appreaciate you. I dont know your guy's situation so i wouldnt know, but i think he needs to realize what he has before he loses you caus eu know what they say "you dont know what you have until you lose it." But my advise to you is to stay strong through this situation!!!!!!
