At 1 or 2 months the baby is still sleeping most of the time. Babies at that age take between 4-6 oz of formula (I assume you do not intend to breastfeed your flour baby) evey 4 hrs during the day. By 2 months they should start sleeping through the night. The last feeding at night would probably be around 10pm and then baby should sleep until about 6am when the baby will wake up hungry and probably demand about 6oz of formula. No cereal or other food at this stage, just formula, normally the kind with iron added. Your schedule may be something like this:

6:00 am baby up, change diaper, 6 oz bottle
6:20 am change poopie diaper, put baby in vibtating baby bouncie chair. Baby will go back to sleep.
7:30 am change another poopie diaper. Put baby on floor on belly. Lay on floor and play with baby.
8:00 am lay baby in baby bed. Baby sleeps.
9:45 am baby awake, diaper change. Cuddle and talk to baby, sing songs to baby.
9:48 am baby cries. Is it your singing? No it is yet another poopie diaper. Change baby.
10:00 am give baby 4oz of formula. You are remembering to burp half way through and after bottle aren't you?
10:15 am try singing to baby again. Talk to baby cuddle and coo with baby.
10:30 am baby ready for morning nap!
12:30 pm baby wakes up crying. Another poopie diaper---where does all this poop come from in such a little baby?
12:35 pm put baby on floor again and play with baby.
12:40 pm you fall asleep on floor while playing with baby.
1:50 pm baby wakes up crying. Change diaper.
1:55 pm give baby 4 oz formula.
2:10 pm baby crying really loud! Check diaper--amazing no poop. Why is baby still crying? You walk, you bounce---not a good idea remember you just feed baby.
2:15 pm Clean up all the spit up off baby and change babies clothes. Nasty!
2:20 pm Change your shirt, it is of course covered in spit up. Man that stinks!
2:20:05 pm baby is still crying. Why?
2:25 pm I give up. Why is baby still crying?
2:30 pm out of despirations fix another 4 oz of formula. Baby take 11/2 oz and goes to sleep. Go figure.
2:40 pm put baby in baby bed.
4:00 pm baby awake need diaper changed, yes there is poop!
4:05 pm put baby in bouncie chair. Talk to baby, play with baby, should you sing again?
4:30 pm baby is asleep in bouncie chair.
5:00 pm baby stirs. You get baby up, change diaper and put in baby bed for afternoon nap.
6:00 pm it is 6:00 time for baby to get up and eat again. Why is baby still sleeping? Watch close is that the little blanket moving up and down, is the baby breathing? Put hand on baby to make sure the baby is still breathing. What is the problem? Why is baby sleeping through feeding time?
7:00 pm baby wakes up. Change baby, who cries the entire time and yes it is poopie.
7:05 pm feed baby 4 oz.
7:10 pm baby content. Talk to baby, play with baby.
8:00 pm bathe baby on altenate days other days clean baby well with damp washcloth. Lotion up baby.
8:25 pm change really nasty poopie diaper. Didn't I just bathe baby and get baby nice and clean? At least baby did not poopie in tub!
8:35 pm play with baby, baby alert
9:00 pm just one more hour and you can feed baby for night and get some rest yourself!!!
10:00 pm trying to give baby 6 oz of formula. Baby squeezing lips tight, will not take formula. What is wrong? Come on baby I am tired! You get really stressed, baby gets really stressed. Baby cries, you cry. When will this all end? (Not for another 21 yrs!! if you are lucky!!!) It will be ok. Just put baby in bed, you go to bed.
11:30 pm Am I having a nightmare? No it is just the baby crying.
11:35 pm give baby 6 0z of formula, come on fight harder to stay awake. Just a few more minutes and the baby will be through and you can go back to bed. Change diaper. Baby wants to play and coo, of course!
12:00 am put baby back in bed, cross your fingers baby will sleep through the night.
5:00 am baby is awake and crying. Time to start over!

Good Luck with your project---thank goodness it is just a project, right?

at 1 or 2 months old, my son ate every 3 hours while awake. i breastfed, so i'm not really sure how much he ate. probably around 3 or 4 oz, if even that much. babies that young will sleep for at least 18 hours out of the day. they do not really have a specific bedtime and they wake up whenever they are hungry. i gave my son 1 bath a week at that age. water and soap dry out their skin very badly at that age and they don't do anything to get dirty anyway. usual bedtime, i guess, is about 6pm.

Eats a handful of cheerios, baby fruit puffs a handful for snack. Dinner is soup with carrots. She just loves to eats. Sweet potatoes are her favorite. She drinks flouride water about 5 ounces a day.
