I like all animals, but alas, I am allergic to the feline variety. I both love and am terrified of dogs. I have been a dog person all my life, but about a year and a half ago I was attacked by a German Shepherd. So now I have a real healthy respect for dogs I don't know. But if it's my dogs, bring on the slobber!

Cats in my opinion they are a little harder to teach. But they are so capable of learning so many things that people won't take the time to teach them. Patients with a cat and you can teach them more than a dog can learn.
