I believe that he said it like he sees it and I am sure that other leaders have their opinions too. I give Mr. Putin credit he has the balls to say what he believes with out covering something up or lying about it and not blameing other countries.
I don't think at all it was an outlandish and crude remark by any means. If you remember that the Bush administration called him weak at one point, and did some embarassing things to him. This is not about payback it is a good way to see how the world is looking upon mr Bush.

If I had an income that was to amount to billions of dollars I would scream too if someone was attempting to prove they was bad. He should have said let Iran alone, you are taking my money. It is not over bullying anyone but the dollar. If Middle East countries begin to arm themselves with nukes it is due to Iran. The USA does not need a nuclear arsenal for these little rinky dink countries. They could annihilate every man, woman and child with conventional weaponry. They have enough.

any one who doubts that America is a bully must be blind , I was afraid that would happen with the fall of the iron curtain, where every one thought this was the beginning of peace, we have had more wars ans killings since the fall of the iron curtain than at any other time , and almost all ot these wars have been attributed to the Zionist, I spent over 20 years in the marine corps and was gung ho as any marine that lived, but in the last 5 years I began to see all of our efforts were for the benefit of Israel, and from personal observance they are the cruelest and dishonorable people I have had the dishonor of being involved with, indiscriminate killing of women and children and the methods they use to incite the Palestinians for an excuse to invade and slaughter them, if the Americans would read the news from other sources than the Zionist owned news media they would insist we be at war with them, now they are trying to get America to invade Iran, and we no doubt will as the Zionist want a war with Iran , so America will rid them of another of their enemy, same with Iraq, but , they won't lose a man, only American blood will be spillled, Russia's Putin is right and if we are not very careful we will be fighting the whole world, as we are fresh out of friends, and don't even think Israel is our friends,

I think that hes pretty much telling us IRAN wants to arm themselves with Nuclear weapons..LOL thats what it sounds like.
Maybe our government has been an overflowing scourge to some nations ?
Iraq wasnt involved in 9/11 , nor was it ever proven they were. Why not send some special forces or cia assassins in there to save the innocent citizens ?? It was a bad move, whether you admit it or not. To many innocent Iraqis have died for nothing. They did nothing wrong, their families and children left, suffer deeply, they live in constant stress, think about it.
He said it because there is some truth to that. Iran has been an enemy for a long time though Iraq has not.
It is the IRANIAN president today, that kept our soldiers hostages in yesteryears.............he was one of the weapons holder that hated us , in us embassy. Research it.
Dont use the cold war against Russia, but keep in mind they are one of the countries that are ARMING our enemy nations. They will only get innocent people killed by arming people with such ideologies.

Putin has no basis to call the US anything, but he can say whatever he wants. This is a communist dictator. He should be careful about stomping around on thin ice.
Bush may have embarrassed you, but you can only speak for yourself.

Well, the U.S. did invade Iran's neighbor for what turned out to be no good reason at all. (There were no WMDs)
So, if I were some mid east country I might want to develop a deterrent against the U.S. in case they try to invade me one day.
I think there is some truth in what Putin said.
