One of my sisters just found out that she is 2 months pregnant with twins (just found out she was pregnant at all). But that is not the problem they have a 3 month 1 week old and a toddler thats a little over 2. Though money isn't a issue and they love kids and want alot it is a bit much for her to digest and she doesn't know how to tell him. She went in casue she though she wasn't recovery well from the pregangy she just had and found out she was pregnant when the doctor looked for a heart beat she found two. How do you tell a man when you have a 2 yr and a 3 month , but you are also 2 months pregnant with twins?

"honey you know I thought I wasnt recovering well from childbirth 3 months ago, well I went to the doctors and found out I'm pregnant with twins! I know its going to be a lot of work with our 2 babies and now 2 more but I know we can do it with a lot of patience, we can raise a wonderful family together...and get on birth control right after the twins are born!!"

She should just sit him down and tell him - he may need the next few weeks to get over the surprise and come up with a new family plan!
You say they wanted a big family so it sounds as if they are on the way - he just might be very pleased with the idea of having the children so close together.
If she needs a little inspiration here is the website that gives a little background on another family with quite a few kids, the Duggers.

Congratulations to she and her husband - they are very lucky you know.

I posted a similar question, although I don't have any other kids, money IS an issue and we weren't planning on any kids. I finally just told my husband, "Uh, I think I'm pregnant". Your sister could say, "Well don't give any of the baby clothes away just yet. In fact, we should buy some more". Or say, "Hey, guess what? I'm pregnant with QUADRUPLETS! When his jaw drops, say, "Ha, only kidding. But it's twins". Maybe if she promises to have her tubes tied he'll feel better about it.

Do a home pregnancy test, hand him the stick and box, then walk away. Come back a little later and ask what he thinks, then make a doctors appointment for him to go to, and get the doc to break it to him. Sometimes guys deal better with a shock like that if there is someone else there...
tell her good luck! LOL- but since you said they want more kids, shouldnt be such a big issue...

Remember it takes two to create a pregnancy. The sooner she tells him the better - they have a lot to talk about. If money isn't an issue and they love kids - what is the issue? What does she think will happen when she tells him? Does she want to go through with the pregnancy? Has she recovered from the last pregnancy? Does she have a supportive family? Lots to talk about.

Put a positive pregnancy test as well as two pairs of baby shoes in a gift box and have him open it. Then say "Surprise honey I just found out we're pregnant with twins!"

There is no way to beat around the bush! Just sit him down and tell him! She can however be creative and wrap up a HPT in a gift box and hand it to him on VDAY! With some pretty red ribbon! LOL That would be an awesome way to tell him! GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS!!! to your sis and her husband

Well obviously they werent doing anything to prevent it so he must have known that this is a side effect of sex. She should just tell him and then if he doesn't want anymore kids go get clipped so this won't happen again. I hope that you are willing to help them out, they are going to need it.

I believe the words "honey, we really could use a nanny" might fit here lol. That's a toughie. Poor girl's going to need all the help she can get, I hope you all are a close knit family.

Valentines day would be a great day to break the news. A card that says all the things she feels about him and include an announcement with her ultrasound photo...if she has one.
