I think this country is going to the dogs, so for me it's hard to say yes and mean it.

It's not often that I can say hand on my heart that I am proud to be British. When I go on holiday I try to hide from the 'British tourists' who don't like onions and garlic and can't speak a foreign language so they speak louder just so that they can heard.
As for our nation, well there's little that I can think of at this moment that our country should be proud of. Our NHS? Our free eduction system (where a lot of 16 year olds can't read or do maths), our government, our immigration policies, etc. I'm not going to carry on cos I'm getting bored typing it in.
I like the National Trust... does that count?

I used to love being British and proud of my heritage, this country and the people who we have allowed to destroy it, have taken it to the point of no return. I hate living here now.
