I never had that problem and now I do. I don't want anyone to touch me. It just makes me feel weird. This isn't a good thing either because I have very compassionate friends and family and they like to hug and I'm the youngest so my mom always wants to hug me and of course I let her hug me, that's my mom! I haven't told anyone I have this problem because I remember growing up my sister never wanted me to hug her or touch her and it made me feel terrible about myself. But now I don't want anyone touching me. It makes my skin crawl a little.

Do you have this issue? Is it even an issue?

I'm 18. My older sister is 26. That's how I'm the youngest.

Guessing about how old you are I would say it's a phase. It may last a little while or the desire not to be touched may lessen. You will have to wait and see. I don't mean to say it's a bad thing and know I don't think it's an issue at all. I never touch anyone well except family, but otherwise I respect others choices.

I'm a very touchy-feely person, but my 17 year old daughter hates hugs and kisses. She's not shy about saying so, either! Maybe it's a phase, I don't know...but I think it's more common than you think.

yeah. I don't really care to hug people. I like my space. I'm not sure if you're a teenager or young...but it may be just a part of growing up. we need more space as we get older.

No; never did.

Touch is a wonderful thing, and I sympathize with those who have "touch" issues, as regards simple non-sexual activities like massage therapy.

Yes. I can't stand it and I don't know why. I think it is b/c I feel fat and unattractive.
