I mean if you;ve seen a film, read a book or listened to a CD, do you really need it to win awards to know whether it is any good? Personally I can make my own mind up and think these award shows are just an excuse for people to buy expensive outfits and enjoy the free drinks.

personally i think they are pointless and utter tripe, and besides, we can decide for ourselves whether that tv show/ film is worth watching or record worth listening to, without a bunch of so-called industry know- it -alls to tell us to do so. just because they say it is good or it's crap, we must we take word for it? of course not. it's all shite to me and anyway, we are able enough to judge for ourselves what is good and not so good. most award shows are meaningless and to a large extent, naff seeing as a) it's just an excuse for people patting each other on their backs saying they are great and getting pissed on champagne and eating expensive food and b) most of the judges who decide who wins what i'd say, don't speak for the rest of us; thus some of their choices are based on the hype and them believing in that hype- need we say titanic and the lord of the rings trilogy? with the brit awards coming up, its so boring that nowadays most people couldn't give a flying monkeys about it- unless someone does something stupid live on air and hence, it ends up in the papers the next day

i do no longer hate those award shows. I hate that celebrities would be so ideas lifeless of their vogue alternatives and have not the 1st clue while is composed of posing for the cameras. approximately infantrymen, sometimes you pay attention plenty undesirable stuff approximately what's occurring distant places that that is severe high quality to have in basic terms a small 3 hour smash to savour some thing so glamourous and over the best. sure they may be boring yet Conan O'Brien did a quite stable activity at cyber web hosting. this is a existence a lot of people want. i understand i'd prefer to be up there on point accepting award meaning you get formally acknowledged and respected via your friends. the element they do for society is they supply us a worldwide that we're not in. it is not constantly a acceptance contest. they have truly voters and the final shows and actors win. It additionally provides writers and directors their time to polish. perhaps you will desire to placed on an award tutor for all those people who circulate unrecognized like rubbish creditors or perhaps you may desire to easily make up an award and deliver to the police station with a thank you letter. Why do they constantly would desire to be those contributing to society and why do no longer you do your section besides.

They don't mean anything to anyone these days.. It's all just a shameful way to get some publicity for the singers..actors..ect.

The rating have went down every single year for the past 15 years so they should make changes or stop wasting television time on a dead program..
