I have always been creative, even when my four children were very small and needed me so much. Now, they are almost all grown up and I am 52. In the last 3 years I have begun painting and have even made some money at it. I started my own photography business last year and it is doing well. Three friends and I from church formed a singing group and we perform at church, a lifelong dream fulfilled. It is the fame I no longer crave, the recognition. I do it because I love it! That creative drive never leaves you! Don't give up on it, just don't expect to be a legend or wealthy from it either.

No, you cannot under any circumstances give up on it! If you foster a passion and a love for something you will never be happy unless you pursue it!
It is never to late to follow a dream! Sometimes you just have to work at it a bit harder.
You follow your dream and have fun doing it! Good Luck!

absolutely not!...it really is never too late...if u don't then u'll always b thinking about the "what if"...opportunities to fulfil one's dream do not come around often, so if u have a chance to start and achieve urs...go ahead...WHAT R U WAITING 4???....bite the bullet...this feeling is not going to go away, it'll probably get stronger...so just embrace it and ur dream...and if u try ur hardest and best and it still doesn't work out...then that's ok too...but at least u will know what was on the other side....gud luck!

Oh wow, no I don't think it's too late. I'm in my very early twenties and I even have doubts that I am too old to break into an artistic career! I say go for it!

give it up. musicians begin their intense training at the age of 3-5. it involves long hours of (painful) stretching to condition the tendons and ligaments. then they must spend 2 years in the forest, sitting in a tree, just listening to the forest sounds. when they finally reach 'enlightenment' (couldn't tell you what that is, as I have not undergone the training), they are really no longer correctly considered "human"... they become Musician. then they can rightly compose such powerful moving ballads as The Macarena and Clay Aiken's immortal "Invisible"
