People assign attributes to beautiful women that they would never assign to average or below average looking women. It's probably hard to be thought of as an all-knowing, all-loving, Lady Bountiful. Put a woman in such a predicament in show business and the problems multiply exponentially.
I always felt so sorry for Marilyn Monroe (even though I was a baby when she died) because she looked and seemed so depressed.

well it's probably more that we expect beautiful women to have better lives than the rest of us, so when they get sad we're more surprised. but we shouldn't, should we?
and also, beautiful ppl tend to be more accepted almost anywhere but sometimes not try as hard, whcih gives them a lot of free time, plus they ahve a pressure to be as cool and popular as their looks say they are. so, they do drugs and cigarettes and have affairs and get with jerks and basically screw up their lives. which is why their lives are hard and they're depressed.

Well because a lot of them are lonely because they just can't talk with just anyone. It's hard for a guy or other women to speak with them when they feel so intimdated with them and only will just say Hi and that's all. But A guy like me I talk with whoever I can and doesn't matter what they look like. ALso it's hard for them to go someplace also because of all the stares and mumbling she has to put up with everywhere she goes. But not around me because if she walked by me, I would say, " Hey beautiful how's it's going, want a friend to go out to eat or something". SO see a beautiful woman talk with her she isn't going to bite. WOuld be less beautiful women that would be lonely if you would just chat with them.

Maybe it's because you aren't paying any attention to the not so beautiful people...their lives are no cakewalk either.
I do think the perks of being beautiful in love, work, relationships, etc. outweigh the risks.

Yes, physical beauty and wealth can be a curse, because it makes it difficult to distinguish whether others are with you because they truly like you as a person, or if they are trying to use your good fortune to their own benefit.

Because the feel that is the only reason ppl like them or want to be with them. They don't feel worthy of themselves because of this.

because they don't have to work for anything, nor do they have to be nice to get by. They get whatever they want with little or no effort. So that means they don't build any character. That would make one miserable
