The ghost shrimp will be fine with the guppies. Guppies are curious little fish that will check them out over and over but will do no damage to the shrimp.

I have guppies and Amano shrimp together and have no problems at all. Amano are slightly smaller than ghost shrimp but look almost identical except for a stripe down their backs.

The shrimp will not harm the guppies or their babies either. The shrimp only scavenge things that are dead or lying on the bottom. Their mouths are very small and not dangerous.

I have had 6 ghost shrimp in with 4 guppies, and they do fine. Ghost shrimp are harmless to guppies, and guppies are harmless to shrimp. Go ahead. Just keep in mind that shrimp, especially ghost shrimp are usually for feeding...But they are only about 25 cents. (or at least at the pet store i go to.) But yah, i can guarantee you 99.9% they will be fine.

guppies are too small to eat the shrimp unless they are huge guppies or tiny shrimp. If it fits into their mouth then they will be food(that goes for all fish). Just ask for the larger ones when you go to buy your shrimp. Guppies are generally peacefull comunity fish so they wont pick on them.
