How close to Seattle? If you go east, like Bellevue, Redmond, and Kirkland, you will find the places are expensive. If you go south, you will find some inexpensive places, but the traffic into Seattle is horrible. Try looking in Federal Way or Kent. Also, north of Seattle has bad traffic, but is also a little cheaper. Try looking in Edmonds or Shoreline.
