My CD drive is working fine but the DVD drive disappeared about a month ago, and it does not even show up in My Computer. I have tried a few things but nothing seems to work. I have about a 3 year old Dell desktop and this is the only problem i have had with it.

Could be a lot of things. driver is missing, dvd drive not connected to cable, jumper settings are wrong, boot virus, CMOS setup has IDE disabled
