She is really strict, my final grade was only a B. Im not sure if she likes me too much.

Just let her know you are interested, and I am sure she will provide you with information she has regarding this. That's what she is there for - to help students look seriously toward their futures. If you are afraid to talk to her, try talking to your guidance counsellor. They can help with career planning, and would probably have the info themselves, or be able to approach her for you. What is wrong with a "B"? A "B" is just fine.

You phrase it in a way that gives her a comfortable and vague way of saying no.

"Prof. X, would you feel comfortable writing a letter of recommendation for me?"

Be real nice. Try to ask her while she's in a good mood. Do you think bribing her with either cookies or money might help?
