Eragon is a great book. It fanstasy in the epic style (like JRR Tolkien) with a simpler writing style but very fresh. So many authors get to be such copycats in that particular genre that Christopher Paolini's story and style are refreshing. Eragon is the name of the main character in this coming of age novel. One day while hunting in the woods he finds a stone which turns out to be a dragon's egg. The egg hatches and he is dragged on an adventure. Eragon is a like able character and the plot is intresting. I'm surprised that anyone would be unable to finish it.

Eragon is a fantasy book about a boy who becomes a dragon rider. I was rather disappointed with it actually. But there are lots of fantasy books out there. Try Anne McCaffrey's Pern books if you want dragons. The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings if you want epic adventure-quest books. The Belgariad series by David Eddings; The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks; The Magic of Recluce by L.E. Modesitt.

Eragon ... that is an awesome question.It is about love,magic, and war. A young farmerboy goes hunting and stumbles across a polished blue stone . Eventually the stone hatches into a baby dragon and Eragon is thrusted into the legacy of the ancient dragon riders.As for books like it in my opinion thier are no books comparing even a little to it.Read it!

Eragon is about a boy that raises a dragon, and then they fight together. Personally, I don't think it's all that well written, but that's just me.
There's also Cornelia Funke's books, one of which is called Dragon Rider. People like her books.
There is a new series coming out that is called the Dragonology series. I can't recall the title of the first book right now, but check out www.bn.com and you'll find out.

Its about dragons. There are probably many series like it. Go to the bookstore or library and ask them. They would know best.

Um, it's about a boy who becomes a dragon rider. That's all I know; I got bored and never finished it.
