Will Patriots fans shut up about not going to the Super Bowl? You lost to Indy, get over it.

The Saints got royally screwed early, which took any potential momentum away. I can't believe even with conclusive camera angles and everything the refs could blow calls so badly after review. But I don't think they would have won it anyways without a monumental effort, so I don't think the Bears didn't belong.

As for the race of the coaches, it's irrelevant in real life what a person's skin color is if they can do the job. And obviously, Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith could do the job.

Following this f'ed up pseudo-logic, you could easily say that the only reason the Patriots won the Super Bowl in 2001 is because of all the post 9/11 patriotism.
This is the NFL, not WWE. They do not script or rig games or seasons. Although I do not think bringing the coaches race up so often was needed, I do understand the uniqueness of it. Now we can put that feat behind us and move on.
I think you and 'seein butts' need to get together and feed off each others stupidity and hate.

Oh, and thanks for the easy points!

If the Super Bowl was rigged, it would have been the New Orleans Saints in the big game instead of the Bears. If it was rigged, it would've been a storybook ending for the Saints, so that much of the fanfare would've swept through the city of New Orleans to help with the whole Katrina disaster.

The Saints didn't play that good. They were playing bad on offense and kept giving the Bears the ball. The D was bound to wear down. Then they did and the Bears just kept going. Really though the Bears had a somewhat spotty D until Bush pissed them off with his taunting them. They manned up from that. As to the Patriots and Colts I didn't watch the game. I think it is stretching it to try to say that was rigged though.

Why would you ask that. No. It wasnt rigged so that 2 black coaches could get to the Superbowl if it was rigged it was rigged so that "Manning could get the monkey off his back". The Saints lost because of Chicago's wheather, they were a dome team and dome teams never win on the road in the playoffs. The Patriots lost because Tom Brady cant catch his own wide open passes. In other words Reche Caldwell gave the Colts that game and the Pats defense didnt play to well.

no way, thats just stupid thinking.the bears and colts both played excellent during the season.as for the saints, they only went 10-6 during the regular season and they are in the NFC where there are bad teams.the patriots are another story,i dont know what to say about them.the colts did play better in the regular season than the patriots.also theres no way these games or any games would be rigged because believe me no one takes money over legacy.no player would give up the chance to make the superbowl for some money.

Not true; but if that is what you want to believe; go ahead. The Saints played above themselves and encountered a better team. The Colts were due, The patriots are a good team but even good teams lose sometimes. Tiger is the best in the world but he does not win every week - and it's not a fix so that the white golfers can win. That's insulting.

Here's why the Colts and Bears were in the Super Bowl. Patriots lost because Tom Brady couldn't even see his own wide receivers open and their defense is getting old. Then, the Saints' defense wasn't good enough, they couldn't play in the Chicago's weather, and the Bears were too physical. ... But the Colts vs Patriots game was one of the best game I've ever watched. The refs didn't favored only the Colts. Refs were on both sides.

yes i absolutely agree, bill belicheck, sean peyton, tom brady, and drew brees as well as all the other pats and saints decided that although it would be really kickin to play in and maybe win a superbowl they would rather throw the games so that two black guys could coach in the superbowl. then they conspired to have it february which is national black history month.
dude quit being a moron. black people are smart too. in fact they were smart during the 68 years that there were 0 black coaches in the nfl. it was the owners who were idiots.

if it was rigged believe the saints woulda been there, come on they were the feel good story of the year. people need to stop looking for a conspiracy and just enjoy the game, football is way to complex a sport to rig. no matter what team went to the superbowl someones gonna cry conspiracy, it's not, it's just the way the saying goes.........on any given sunday.........
