i mean when u love someone and he doesn t love u in return ,,and u continue being happy seeing him happy even with another lady ,,and on valentine u give him 2 gifts one for him and one for that he gives it to the other lady he loves ,,is this platonic love or maternity love???

Maternal and martyrizational - you are caretaking and choosing to allow yourself to be taken for granted.

Even if you actually were his mother, it still wouldn't be a healthy relationship! If he is old enough to have a girlfriend, he should be getting her gifts on his own.

You are sacrificing your own self-worth for someone who obviously does not appreciate you, and never will reciprocate the feelings you have for him.

Have some dignity and move on with your life - you deserve someone who will see you for the warm, nurturing, beautiful person that you are.
