I know what they do, and I know the difference between them and a psychologist. I want to know if they are usually finiantially stable, the different places they go with their job (I know some work in jails, some in private practices, etc.), and stuff like that! Thanks. =]

Most people in the study of Social Services are very outgoing and helpful to others, however you will be lonely due to others seeing your gift as looking to their very souls.... analyzing them at all times. However, whenever there is a real problem, you will be the first to be called... ex probation officer, counselor, social worker and teacher.

I have attended to the psychiatrist lots of times, of course this psychiatrist works on a particular place where he gives service to his customers. It's odd to be in there, you totally feel like a weirdo/psycho. They ask basic questions, like those any doctor would of make, but they also ask stuff like - do you have dejavus? do you see supernatural things? do you forget things often? It really depends on your symptoms.

There are also psychiatrists that work at psychiatric hospitals I guess, some work with mentally handicapped people, others work in the courts too (to diagnose the criminals). But they mostly work as particulars or hospitals.
