A guy says he likes a good girl friend of many years, but he cannot date anyone right now. She says she just wants to be friends, and that is where she stands. Then, she says she wants their friendship to grow. Why would she want the friendship to grow?

Because she is a true friend and respects his opinions and values. Not everyone in the world is negative. Its a very positive thing to acknowledge that you only feel that it is a friendship and want to remain friends. My question is why guys always think that they cannot have female friends. It is very normal to have male and female friends. Take care Heather

basically, it all means that they don't want to date them because they are not attrative to them. If one's in love, he or she doesn't have any reason for this and that like them. Just tell them to get the point and move on. Forget about friendship! it's bull ****!
