I went in the 1980's, in my 20's. I can tell you from experience there's an awful lot of walking to where you need to go. Plus there wasn't that many toddler friendly rides there, unless the adult was with them. A lot of things there are more meant for older kids. You might want to go online to Disney's website and do some research. Or, call up the resport and ask for a free information packet. They usually have a video available to let you see some of the attractions. It may help your decision. Another thing is to go to your local bookstore and pick up a copy of Visiting Disney World With Kids 2006 or 2007. They list all the do's and don'ts of traveling with small children. And remember, toddlers get cranky quickly. They do have a few stations to take care of a child's needs, but most toddlers can't stay still too long. Plus, there can be very long lines.

There are PLENTY of rides for him to go on. In fact there are only a few that he can't. Some examples:

Magic Kingdom- Space Mountain, Big Thunder Railroad, Splash Mountain, ...that is probably it. Anything else he would have to accompany an adult.

Epcot- You wouldn't want to do Test Track, Mission to Mars, and I am not sure about Soarin'.

MGM- He wouldn't be able to ride Rock N Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, (probably not) Star Tours.

Animal Kingdom- Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids

I think he would be able to go on just about everything and anything else.

You can check out the Disney World website and find out exactly what the height restrictions are.

Have a great time.

OH!! one more thing he definitely wouldn't ride would be Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom. It is a bumpy, jerky ride that can be frightening at times!

It is actually easier to list the rides he cannot go on. I've included a link that lists the height restrictions for each park. Disney doesn't restrict people from riding based on their age, but rather their height. It is a safety precaution because anyone under that size could potentially fall out or kids seriously injured.

There will still be a lot that he can do, depending on his height. But, Disney doesn't charge anything for a two year old in Disney because there isn't as much for them to ride, just be sure to bring plenty of things for him to when he has to wait on others to get back from riding.

Also, be sure to use your judgement. He may meet the height requirements on some rides, but they may be too scary for a youngster.

Have a great time!

The best website to go on for for ride restrictions and descriptions is allearsnet.com. I went 2 years ago and that website was the best thing for me. I too had a 2 year old child going with me and that website was a real life saver. It will answer any questions that you have about anything Disney World.

In animal kingdome, there is a carnival like place for smaller children, there is one specific ride that you can ride with anyone, even infants, called Triceratops. Its got green dinos and is a cute little ride. Might want to check that out:) I also reccomend animal kingdomes safari ride. You are surrounded by animals without fences! Its pretty cool. Eaither way, enjoy your stay at the most magical place on earth! :D

If you head to magic kingdom, practically everything will be in his age range. <3 Disney is very toddler-friendly at most of it's parks. (save perhaps MGM, which is geared more towards the teenagers)

I would reccomend, however:
Buzz Lightyear
Lilo and Stitch
Haunted Mansion
Thunder Mountain (it looks scary, but it's very suitable for youngsters)
