Low IQ, easy to get over on men seem to be a delicacy for women nowadays. Before it was "get that young handsome NASA director", now it's "get that poor dumb loser with no job, no schooling, no ambitions, no career goals, and still receives Western Union from his parents". I personally think it has to do with how society is doing a 360* turnaround from what it used to be. Women now are completing 60% of graduate degrees to mens 40%...and fellow men one question for you..."WHAT THE **** ARE WE DOING"...but I feel now successful women have the same mindset as successful men had for oh so long..."marry the average looking guy, have children, and HE'LL stay home, while I MANAGE all the finances and keep the household intact." Females have been on the backburner for so long and now they are at the forefront of everything (great accomplishment)
I guess this isn't a rant, but more of a commentary on how we are slowing witnessing a role reversal in society. Opinions & Thoughts...?!

I was reading an article about this in the news the other day (specifically how girls are out performing boys in school, are holding more student government positions, and more are going to college). I also wonder why this is occurring, and I think that it's important that we not let boys fall behind in education, while at the same time not taking away from the girls accomplishments. I wonder if it has to do with our culture's emphasis on education, and how it differs for each sex. Girls are taught to work hard to achieve what they want; the pervasive idea has been that they have to work harder than boys to overcome social obstacles...and so they have. With boys, however, there seems to be an underlying stigma that says being "smart" is nerdy, and not "cool," and so some don't work as hard in order to avoid that stigma. Also, it is very possible that the "focus on girls" of the past, that sought to catch girls up in math and science, has done a disservice to boys, by all-together ignoring their needs. And perhaps, and this is just a thought, some boys have the idea (culturally influenced, of course) that they will inherent their place as "the dominant" group when they grow up, regardless of what they do now. This is obviously no longer true, and we need to work toward equalizing the place of both sexes for the future.

Ok time for me to break my pledge on yahoo community not to make inflammatory statements because the responses you are getting smell of bias and high time that male intellect butted in.
My friend the stats you are giving i dont know how accurate they are but if that is the case then it is a wake up call for all males.For centuries this has been a physical world where a mans brawn could acheive the basics.
With computer age brains are at a premium and though secretly women still desire a muscular stud who can keep it up as long as they want him to they will not accept it any more because he belongs to the bygone era of male glory.
Time males started using their grey matter why? because women have empowered themselves with the usage of their brains and what did their brains tell them ? that a man is sexually weak when it comes to a woman so she took advantage and feminists brainwashed the whole society into beleiving that women are better beings than men with all that male bashing propoganda in the last couple of decades.
If you as men start using your intellect you will realize that your strength actually lies in your weakness and that if you were to gain the ability of mind over body you will soon realize they are not worth competing with.
Because whether they like it or not we have bigger brains and we have what they will never have the ability to give life while they have to be recipients to even start thinking about child bearing.
So conclusively think with your bigger head high time before you have no head left at all so use it .
