Any particular problems to look out for/special tools required?

if you need to change the head gasket then you need the head skimmed. You will then need a gasket to make up for the skimming. You must do this properly . You may have to torque the head and run for 15 mins then re-torque. Run again for 15 mins then finally tighten down

do you have any mechanicle knowlege? if yes why are you asking this q
if no then take it to a garage is it is difficult.
you need to know how to time it then bleed injecters plus head has to be skimed and there will some special tool required

Sorry can't help you there because I have never wrenched on a Disco. Never even heard of one for that matter.
