Yes, that is why he carries a pair of tweezers and a vile of liquid morphine in his back pocket. Then when the vile is empty he uses that to store the bullet and then actually re-uses the bullet. He isn't a self made millionaire for no reason.

Usually a doctor will not operate on himself, he could pass out, and cause more complications. Now if Snoop dogg had a cap busted in his azz then Dr. Dre would be entitled to remove the lead. Fo Shizzle. The dizzle is my nizzle, thats what Snoop would say.

No physician is qualified to operate on himself following a major wound such as a gunshot. However, if Doctor Dre did know anything about medicine or treating wounds, I don't see any reason why he couldn't attempt to save himself if all other options ran out.
