I wouldn't keep her in there for long if it is a small area. That is stressful for her. It really isn't necessary at all unless you have other fish in your tank that you are sure will eat the fry. If you feel you have to put her in the breeding tank, just watch her and put her in there when she looks like she is literally about to pop. As soon as she has the babies take her out.

How big is the breeding tank if there`s plenty of room for her she will be ok for a while
but disturbing a pregnant Mollie can cause her to miss carry
as soon as the fry are born remove her or she will eat her fry

Really until she as given birth to babies. If she cant give birth...buy a tube of algae sprinkle a little in the water and make it look green. Here is a guide about the female molly....as soon as it has mated..put the male in another tank because thats his job done. If the female chases her babies away...put a partition in her tank.

you need to not be messing including your fish, taking them from tank to tank. Your pleco will outgrow your mollies and your tetras, and ultimately kill them, and your tetras want to be in communities of six at a minimum anyhow. Mollies, like a number of different livebearers do more beneficial advantageous in species in trouble-free terms tanks. which means, mollies in trouble-free terms at the same time as breeding, besides the undeniable fact that you need to upload different species of livebearers.

As soon as she has the babies/fry, take them out or she'll eat them. But i've also herd that some mollies don't eat their offspring, but to be safe take them out. Some mollies also don't need a breeding bowl or net. Hope everything works out.:)

i take it she is in a breeding tank inside the main tank,if so leave untill babies are born.
im not 100% sure but black mollies dont eat there young so theres no urgency to quickly remove her from breeding tank into the main tank.
if you have a tank of black mollies only you could easily breed these livebeares without breeding tanks.
good luck.................

Until she gives birth. Then put her back in the main tank asap as she will eat the fry otherwise.

Until it gives birth then get it out quickly as it will eat its young. Feed the young on a special young fish food.

Until she is no longer birthing, then remove her before she flails around and injures herself.
