Beauty, is as beauty does... This is because it is our "actions" that determine our beauty... Beautiful young people are acts of nature... Beautiful people, regardless of age, are acts of character.... ;)

According to Webster's Dictionary, it is "the quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit : loveliness"
Some important things about beauty: It is subjective to the tastes and senses of the experiencer. However, the things that guide our tastes as human beings come from a variety of biological and social forces. Since we all have some things in common but we also have some things about us all that are very unique, we find that most of us find some things (like a sunset) beautiful while only a few find other things (like Arnold Schwarzenegger) beautiful. It therefore follows that you can learn to find things beautiful through experience. Hence, phrases like "learning to see the beauty in..." are heard in all cultures.
So, as the old saying goes, 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. But, beauty is also uniquely in each of us. For regardless of who we are or where we come from, there are always some people somewhere who would readily see the beauty within each of us.
That's about all I have on this, so I'll leave you with some of my favorite words from a songwriter I know named Dug Pinnick:

Beauty is the phenomenon of the experience of pleasure, through the perception of balance and proportion of stimulus. It involves the cognition of a balanced form and structure that elicits attraction and appeal towards a person, animal, inanimate object, scene, music, idea, etc.

beauty depends on the person itself because things that has beauty for me may not be the same in the opinion of others. but i guarantee that in that beauty there should be comfort, order, the ability to attract, satisfies what we like and should be simple. but again these are just my opinion. i hope you may like them somehow. but to summarize all that I've said it simply means that it depends on the one who will judge it. example if you found satisfaction in it maybe you have your own definition of the word beauty itself

The saying goes, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Physical beauty is a combination of characteristics such as color, form, proportion, etc. that are pleasing to the senses. Many people think of beauty as only being found in a physical form. I believe it can, and should be much more. Inner beauty is so much more important than physical beauty. Inner beauty can consist of self-esteem, confidence, humility, good morals, love for yourself and your fellow man - any number of qualities.

There is a whole branch of philosophy that deals with what is beauty? Aesthetics answers questions of value. We all wonder if there is a single property that defines what is beautiful and what exactly do they have in common, or is beauty in the eye of the beholder?

Sense. Individual one. It cannot be conceptualized..otherwise that sense will fade away, as for many on earth...Bless you if you have it. Keep it no matter what.... Perceiving something beautiful you perceive sense first, your own Sense....by the way , as anything else but Beauty

It varies form person to person..no one can answer this really. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder (peoples opionion of beauty differs....not every one likes the same flavor of icecream!)

BEAUTY IS THE COMBINATION OF ARMONY, GOOD BALANCE ,GOOD SHAPES AND COLORS , FLOWING OR NOT IN CONTINUITY, WITH THE PREVIOUS GOOD FEELINGS OF HUMAN BEING AS AN OBSERVER
WITHOUT HUMAN BEING AS AN OBSERVER THOSE ARE JUST ELEMENTS AND FORCES OF NATURE COEXISTING. BEAUTY EXISTS ONLY AT THE PRESENCE OF A PERSON WHO WANTS TO FIND................... BEAUTY.

Beauty is anything that feels to you as an individual spiriti to hold truth ,joy and light from life, it could be anything to anyone. it's all in the eyes of the beholder. I think your Icon is beautiful!!! :) *wink
