gym is 3 hours a day?
Every day?
That's too much, and is eating into your study time.
Also, do you spend any time studying on the weekends?
But your biggest problem is probably not studying more, so much as studying more effectively.
For each class, make sure you keep up with your work. If you start to fall behind, drop fun time and work on weekends.
Start all papers well ahead of the due date -- papers tend to count for a lot.
Do all the reading, but don't just "decode" the words, make sure you understand what you read.
Pay a lot of attention to the prefatory material and tables of contents in your books -- they show the basic concepts it's most important for you to get, and the structure of the book, so you can see how the pieces fit together.
After class, take some time to go over your notes, making them complete and clear.
There's probably a place on campus offering tutoring help -- make use of it, start early in the semester.
You also need to work on your writing. Your school probably has help for that, too. It makes a big difference, since, if the prof can't understand what you're trying to say, you get no credit.
You don't make at all clear exactly what your problem is -- do you blow tests? Put all your effort into things that don't count much for the grade? Fail to turn things in on time? What?
Try to focus on learning the material, rather than getting the grades. Grades are a result of the quality of your work. Do the work well, you'll get the grades; focus on grades and you won't get it.
Don't wait until just before tests to go over material -- keep up as you go along.
Do all homework and any extra credit.
Most of all, calm down.
Hysteria is counter-productive.

WAIT! Calm down. Unless you KNOW that the college you are transferring to won't take some of your college hours, don't worry about it. Check with an acedemic advisor first...you may be stressing for nothing. What career path do YOU want to take? If you are undecided, concentrate on getting the best grades you can in your core subjects (ie: History, English, PE., Government, etc). In the end, besides making sure that your courses transfer, the main thing that colleges look at is your GPA. Remember, if you have to take a course for a degree requirement and you do badly final grade wise you have so many years ( it used to be 5...I don't know what it is now) to retake the course. The college will record the highest grade of the two for your transcript.

Number one, you probably need more than 2 hours per night study time. Typically, you are expected to spend 2-3 hours outside of class for each hour in class. For example, if you have a 3 unit class, you are expected to spend 6-9 hours preparing for it. If you are serious about getting the higher grades, this is where you need to start.
Second, I think you need to consider why you are there. It sounds like you are there for a piece of paper, and want to do as little as possible to get it. There's nothing wrong with that, but it suggests to me that you need to reconsider why you need the piece of paper. Are you preparing for some profession in which you need that piece of paper and grades don't really matter? If this is the case, is it something you're prepared to do for the next 10 years of your life? Do you even need a degree for it? What would happen if you left school for a while and just worked? You are still pretty young and have plenty of time to decide what you want to be when you "grow up." What's the hurry with getting your degree?
Bottom line is, I would suggest you do some soul searching and perhaps get some career counseling to see whether you're preparing for something that is right for you. Perhaps the job market for what you're doing is great, but if you're not excited about it, you're not as likely to do well and you're not going to enjoy it. If you find something that truly suits you, it won't feel like work at all, and typically you'll find a way to make a good living at it whether or not it's supposed to be lucrative.
Good luck!

- Try to look for some extra tutoring to understand better the material.
- Also, remember that studying a lot doesn't always mean good grades - study smart. Try to identify what is what the teacher wants. I have found like each teacher has a "style" so find that style and try to guess what teacher will ask in the test.
- Try to be friends with the teachers too, like they will feel you and maybe give you a had if you need it.
- Try to hang out with nerdy girls, those that get good grades, they might help you.
- If you are feeling hopeless on a test and it is possible, cheat!!! what so ever lol.
- When thinking of studying try to frame it positively, don't get stressed much, stress might have originated your bad results.

Well if your "fun time" includes drinking or other drugs, that would proabably explain it, since it's coming RIGHT after your studying. Also, if you go to school at 8 am, wth are you staying up until midnight?! Finally, 2 hours is NOT studying you a s s off! Buckle down and get serious!

Try not to schedule all of your time!!!! That stresses you out even more!! Just chill and focus on your work for now!!!! In college things are hard and not everything can go your way. If you see that that schedule isbt working out for you focus on your classes more and stop going out for a little while (It cant hurt). I'm doing the same thing but at high school so i know what youire going through
I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK!!!!

You need to work your hard in school, you need to study religiously if you really want to pass, concentrate on school work, don't waste your time doing nothing, cuz believe me, in your situation it's gonna bite you in the a.s.s! Just focus on school, study hard, relax, be determined to pass. Good Luck!
P.S. Have confidence in yourself! Be determined to pass this.
