Having a little scent is normal, but if the odor is strong, and have smelly discharge, it could be sign of infection. Vaginal douching is not longer recommended because it destroys the good bacteria (that help neutralize the bad one) and alters the normal acidity of the vagina. You should see a doctor.

A slight odor is normal. It's the same how men's balls smell sometimes. Just make sure you freshen up down there before any sexual activity. You will never get rid of all odor down there. It's just part of being human.

Firstly...it is very normal for a woman to have a scent. Too many young women are douching and spraying and this destroys good bacteria that is necessary.

As the other writers say, if there is a discharge that is thick or discolored, you may have an infection and you should see a doctor.
Normal daily bathing though, is enough to remain "clean" down there.

You need to see a doctor. Sorry, but if you have a strange odor, then you have an infection.
