Ok I obviously know that there are places to buy black jeans at people, lol. It's just that I have a lot of blue jeans and I want some black pants so I was thinking it might be cheaper to just dye one of my pairs black, rather than go out and buy a new pair? Catch my drift?

Get your self a box or bottle of 'Ritz' dye. make sure your pants are went, you might want to run them through the rinse cycle of the washing machine. When they are spun out then put them in a bucket with the deluted dye. Make sure you wear rubber gloves, or your hands will turn black. Then rinse thoroughly until no dye comes out. Then rinse again with 1/4 cup of vinegar in the water to set the dye. Other wise every time you wash your jeans some of the color will come out. After you have done this. It should be safe to run them in the rinse cycle of the washing machine again. You may put vinegar in the washing machine again. Then dry them in the outside fresh air or put them in the dryer. But for the first time outside would be best to set the dye firmly into the fabric.

Just go to Walmart and buy a pair of black jeans. I just got myself some mens Rustlers there for about $10.00. That way you have a pair of blue jeans and a pair of black jeans.

if you need to bring the color back to them, put them in a large tub and then put tea in there, this will bring back the color. Also when you wash black jeans put a cup of regular table salt in the wash cycle and this will keep them from fading. Make sure its the idionized one.
