It is hosting the 2008 All-Star Game.
2008 is the last year the Yankees will be playing in the "old" stadium, since the new stadium is scheduled to open in 2009.

Yankee Stadium is going to be the host of the 2008 MLB All Star Game and the All Star Game at Yankee Stadium would be good for New York since Yankee Stadium is a historic stadium.

some will "boo" and a few will coach classification. The cool element is that the allstar sport would be in Yankee stadium in its final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days! which would be emotional- i'd desire to very nicely watch it next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days!

how can it not be....if your question pertains to the building of the new park.......the new park is going to be up and running for the 08-09 season...they will play their last season of baseball there in the 07-08 season....
