Is it ok if a guy shaves his private area?

What is the best way to do this and i done this before the i get ingrown hair down there and it hurts like hell. How often should i shave down there. Should i wax

i shave daily using a cleancut shaver. it can be purchased at www.cleancut.com. it provides a close, smooth shave each time i use it. there aren't any ingrown hairs, bumps, or inflammations.

Being ok is simply up to you. The most effective way is to use hair trimmers and shave down the hair first. then use a good high quality razor to shave the stubble. Without mention this is a sensative area and all precautions should be taken.

Clinique ( A womans line) makes a aftershave for men. This is used to prevent ingrown hairs, it works great on the face. I'm unsure of how your skin would react "down there". Using over the counter items like baby oil or baby powder are always good fall backs. You know those are made to be sensative to you skin.

As far as how much again that is completely up to your preferences.

porn stars shave cause it looks bigger, personally, it feels much better too, women love it. u get used to the shaving after a couple times and develop a tolerance of sorts to the burn or ingrown hairs. First time can get bad red bumps mabey second or more, but your body gets used to it. LOL dont wax if u do ur balls, have u ever waxed anywhere near ur inner thigh? my first time inner thigh, the pores just oozed blood. Shave with gel, keep the pores clean, shaving is much better lookin than trim.

why would you want to shave the scuff protection away from an area prone to chafing often enough. let me guess, your buds do it or your gf thinks it looks cool. if you want to shave it, no harm except razor rash and as you already know, ingrown hairs. seems like an awful lot of work to do every couple of days to keep the stubble from irritating you all the time. i suggest at best, a good trim every couple of weeks, much more comfortable and it doesn't have stubble that will irritate any potential partners either

I trim with an electric shaver, with the length set to about 1/4 inch. Looks neat, but not bare! No ingrown hairs.

Ha *Private Area* Ha! Yeah shaving your junk or pubes or w/e you want to call it, is ok. Just make sure that you do it right and you might get shaving burns so watch out. Have fun shaving!
