i'm in 11th grade and at my school there is this teacher who doesn't even teach me but he acts really wierd with me. Hes like the strictest teacher in the school to everyone but me. Once he took a photo of me and started going on about how much he LIKED it, i mean it was just a pic of me playing with my hair. Another time i was in his room for some reason and he just came out with 'fancy a job rosa' and winked at me, then a few days later he was shouting at some kids and came up to me after and said 'i'm not mean, well i'm not mean to you because i know you like and i'm nice to you, you've seen my nice side ' and winked at me yet again. Whenever i walk past he has to have some degree of eye contact with me and whenever i talk to him he always touches me on the arm or shoulder. Its only me hes like this with, why am i been singled out like this? (sorry for posting so much i want professional opinions of other teachers)

what a creep.

He probably has a student each year that he gets a crush on, and lucky you for being this year's.
Avoid him and don't look at him.

As a high school teacher, I think you should talk to an adult. First, you should talk to your parents or, if that is not possible, someone at school. It should be someone who will protect your privacy, such as a school nurse or counselor or the principal/vice-principal. The behavior of this teacher makes you feel uncomfortable and it is very unprofessional. You have done nothing to provoke this and it needs to stop especially since you have over a year in high school left. I wouldn't talk to the teacher, because this will open you up for more time alone with him.

Talk to an adult that you are comfortable speaking with. I'd start with your school counselor or a parent. It doesn't matter what his intentions are or are not. If you makes you uncomfortable, then it needs to stop. I don't know which state you live in, but most states have laws to protect you. If he doesn't mean anything by it, then it would be a shame for him to lost his job, but it still has to stop. I wouldn't try to embarrass him unless it doesn't stop or it gets worse. At any rate, take action. Start low on the ladder to complain and move your way up if you need to. Document the behavior that makes you uncomfortable. Write it down and include the date and time so that you have specific information.

Ok this is kinda wierd, maybe he is a perv, maybe he is just nice. But i think you should ask someone, parents, another teacher or whatever to see if he is like this with any other pupils ( i know you said that he isn't but just to be sure ). I don't really know what else to suggest cos you could offend him if he is just being nice but then again if you are not to careful and he is some kind of perv...... Also if he took the photo without your consent then you should tell the police maybe cos this seems all to freakeh!

We have a teacher just like that, but he's like that with alot of girls. With us, we tried getting rid of him, but he's been at the school for so long the principal doesnt want to get rid of him. This man will randomly put his hand on the student's shoulder and kinda caress their arm and its horrible. Its not allowed for teachers to even compliment you clothing, but this guy gets away with it. But if you're the only one, then start by telling ur parents, and then your counselor. Just i dont know if i would tell the teacher or else he might get aggresive and do god knows what. Btw dont pass by him alone EVER again! Good Luck and i hope all goes well!

Why ought to you want to apply your lunch smash, in a instructors lecture room, that is not your instructor? may be completely harmless, yet in basic terms to be on the chance-free aspect, do not flow everywhere on my own with him. If he would not take no for an answer, be sure your mom knows. allow her get entangled and refer to the numerous or councilor. you're patently an sensible youthful woman.

This should be taken very seriously. Talk to your parents, if you find it difficult to approach it with them, print out your question and give it to them. If they cant deal with it (sometimes it is difficult even for your parents) do the same with another teacher you trust; preferably a female teacher - a female teacher is more likely to take it seriously. Keep trying until you get some action although I suspect you'll get action fairly quickly.

It is really important to take action on this because even if it is just a nuisance to you, if this guy gets away with it, he may do something terrible to someone else.

No teacher would see this behaviour as professional.

you are experiencing "sexual harrasement" You should talk to him and let him know you are uncomfortable by his behavior. Don't talk to him alone. The military has a thing called the buddy system. where you are always with a friend, it saves people. If his behavior continues or he retaliates, then report it. It's impropper and shouldn't be tolerated. Stand up for yourself. You might want to request to be switched out of the class. Your counselor should be accomidating.

I'm sorry.

Yeah that is weird. If you feel uncomfortable tell someone. His behavior is odd. He is not supposed to act like that. It is very unprofessional. Tell your parents, the guidance councilors, or someone else you can trust.
